​What is Reiki? 


Reiki (pronounced Ray-Kee)is an ancient therapy, activating and harmonising our natural life force energy. In some circles, they call it bio-energy, we call it Reiki.It is based on the principles that:
  •  Everything alive is made up of energy. It is a scientifically proven fact that down to our smallest cellular level, we are vibrating beings
  • We all have the ability deep within to heal ourselves. In order to do this, our bodies and energy centers (chakras) must be in balance- physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.
​It nourishes and relaxes and is helpful for a wide variety of ailments and complaints. It will instil calm, restore focus and give you that extra bit of umpf you require when life's getting to be a bit of a struggle.During a Reiki session, the client will draw through the Reiki practitioner the energy they need to bring themselves into balance so they have a place from which to heal. Reiki heals at the SOURCE of the difficulty, be it a physical problem or underlying emotional/stress related issue.
